Two Previews
Two preview movies of interest!
First up is AliceSoft’s AliveZ. You can download the OP movie here in the download page, or you can choose to view it in YouTube. A quick search for “AliveZ” brings up a lot of results, so I won’t bother posting a link. For those who don’t know, AliveZ takes place in the same world as AmbivalenZ, an older title of AliceSoft’s. Man, now I have my fingers crossed for a Daibanchou remake/”sequel” (in the loosest sense of the word) release! PLEASE ALICESOFT. ;___;
Ahem. Next up is Tenkuu no Yumina! They’ve released a demo trailer, and you can view it here in their download page, or in YouTube. Damn those SD sprites, they’re just too adorable and hilarious! My favorite part in the trailer is during 1:16. Not only are Yumina’s SD sprites comedic, but so are her battle lines!
Aside from Twinkle Crusaders, these two titles, and Toushin Toushi, there’s nothing else worth tenuously anticipating. *sighs* Which is rather good, I suppose, as it gives me enough time to pursue my ever-growing backlog.

in AliveZ OP, I see that there’s some intimidate looking dungeon there.. O_o
So was it alright for them to not censored if it was a dungeon, not another human appendage? LOL
Yeah, SD is hilarious. Not only they’re cute, they also can cut some budget off your wallet.
It seems that there are some dungeon exploring too.
Less good releases is good.
Well chibi battle sprites are nothing new anyway :) Actually I’d say it’s quite common to have chibi representations of battle characters in RPGs. But the chibis in Yumina look hilarious, and totally comical.

and feetare more than ample enough for fetishes!Kresnik: Yeah, I know. A vagina-themed dungeon entrance…and man, here I was thinking that Capcom was the only company into that sort of thing. Also, agreed on the SD – they’re cute, and rather cheap. Also, the dungeon exploring in Tenkuu no Yumina seems reminiscent of Pastel Chime Continue, for some reason.
Zakarum: Yeah, chibi battle sprites aren’t uncommon, as you told me in GTalk, but in Yumina’s case, the SD sprites are too freaking geared towards hilarity! They’re just so adorable and comedic at the same time, and I don’t know of any other game with SD battle sprites that have the same comedic appeal as Tenkuu no Yumina’s does.
I have sadly never played an Alicesoft title until just recently when I went on a whim and installed Galzoo on my hard drive. It might have been a foolish decision because before I realized it, my entire week disappeared. It’s feeding my pokemon addiction ever since the original red and blue came out on the gray Game Boy. I know Alicesoft has done this many times, but I can’t help but be impressed by the sheer number of winnable girls and each one of them has their own distinct personality and a nice chunk of character development with them. Then again, it did take up 4 gigs on my hard drive. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to

The thing I really like about AliceSoft is that they’ve got their own distinct style and approach. When it comes to their games, they’ve got their own thing going, and it’s apparent in the game’s “feel”, even in the eroscenes. Hahaha, AliceSoft <3!
