わいどにょ = FUN
So far I’ve been doing nothing but playing わいどにょ, a little minigame that’s part of Alice 2010. And I have to tell you, it is ridiculously fun. If you want to find out how the game goes, you can visit the Widenyo page in the Alicesoft fan wiki.
It’s a pretty simple game: you’ve got a fort with 5 health, and the moment enemies get close to it, your fort loses one health. Once you lose all 5 healths, its game over. You deploy your troops on the field and take down any enemies trying to get to your fort. But in order to progress, you have to make your fort move forward, and by doing that, you increase the monster’s levels every time you do so! You get additional characters every time you “use” a Crystal (with a support unit), or take down a certain number of monsters, or open a chest, or clear certain dungeons however, so don’t think that you’re stuck with just your initial lineup.
Your units take damage every turn depending on the Lv. you’re in; just get Lv.x2 and that’s the damage that your chars will be eating per turn. None of the chars can ever die permanently, though: they just get knocked to 0 HP and sent back to the roster, with a cooldown period before they can be sortied again. That’s the appeal of Widenyo – continuous character shuffling!
What makes this game fun for me, though, is the aspect of collecting characters that I’m familiar with. As of now I’ve got Kunagi (!!!), Senhime, Isoroku, Suzume, Phil (Pastel Chime Continue), in my roster. Well, I’ve got tons of other characters too, but those are the characters from the list which I wanted to get…and obtained! Still holding out for Haruka, Narika, Subaru, Escalayer, Kouhime, among others.
The gameplay’s pretty easy to pick up, and the way the item works is similar to Toushin Toushi 3′s item compounding, though this time you can take things off without the need to use an item! Anyways that’s about it, time to head back to Widenyo and see if luck’ll let me recruit mai waifus!

WTF Hemi!? You didn’t tell me how huge Alice 2010 is! I never played Vanish!, do not need another copy of Beat Blades Haruka, and do not want to play a prostitute raising simulator!!!
So does Alice 2010 mean they finished their intended quota for eroge releases for this year?

I’m wondering the same thing as Wrathkal lol. So is it basically something like a tower/hero defense with twists? Is it safe for playing in class? :D
@Rooked: Widenyo is safe as far as I can tell…though I’m only on the first level. Just don’t play the BBH fandisc anywhere near an instructor. Ever. Also Senna is my first “capture” LOL ZAK!

LOL, I got Kunagi, Narika, Senhime (and Kaede) pretty early on, but I got Senna around the 90 character range.
