Haven’t played Ar tonelico 2 yet? Well, while you’re waiting for the English localization of AT2 that’s to be released this coming December, you can go ahead and treat yourself to a figure of Croche-sama!
Oh god. Do want. I have Max Factory’s Ruka Truelywaath, so it’s no question that I’ll be getting this one as well. The pic makes it look like this figure’s lacking in details as compared to Ruka’s figure, but hey, I’m still getting it in the hopes that it’ll actually end up being better than how it looks right now.
Besides, it’s Ar tonelico! I don’t need an excuse aside from that. If they ever release a Misha Arsellec Rune figure, then I will fucking go out and buy myself one of it faster than you can g-HHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH.
Ar tonelico 2 is slated for a December release. If you want to read more on it (not really more), just check out Moogy’s blog.
It’s definitely good news for those who have been looking for the english port of Ar tonelico 2 for quite a while now. Also, seeing that Persona 4′s english version comes out on the same month, having both Persona 4 and Ar tonelico 2 come out at the same time is a godsend!

Luca Truelywaath and Croche Latel Pastalie, AT2′s main Reyvtails
It’s been more than a month since it came out, and though I wanted to talk about it the moment I got a hold of it, I wasn’t able to. That’s because I was too busy playing the heck out of the game – and enjoying every second of it!
The story of Ar tonelico 2 starts off with Chroah Vatel, a young Knight who works for an organization whose purpose is to seek out and confine Reyvtails who are afflicted with I.P.D. Though he dislikes what he is doing, he has no choice but to continue doing his duty to his organization. One day, while on a routine mission with his partner Cocona Vatel, a young Reyvtail who uses martial arts for lack of song magic, he is entrusted with the task of protecting Chroche Latel Pastalie, their organization’s miko. From there on, Chroah embarks on a quest to find out the truth behind I.P.D., Meta Falls, and the lost song of Metafalica.

I don’t know if I can hold on. I’d love to think that I can hang on until it comes out, but knowing me, I’ll be gnashing my teeth and killing myself with the anxiety that every second brings. Oh, such a delightful torment, so sweet yet so bitter!
…Okay, that was overly dramatic, even for me. But I just can’t help myself! Especially since Ar tonelico 2′s coming out this week!

You guys can check it out for yourselves as to why this game is going to rock my world again, trailer notwithstanding. Also, I’ve checked around the site, and god damn, they really know how to pull my fanboy strings. Onsen baths with your Reyvtails? More risque diving interactions? Tuned-up battle system? Increased damage cap? Prettier Reyvtails? HELL YES, DO WANT! Especially the last part! Better, prettier Reyvtails are always welcome, but Misha-sama will always be my ever-favorite Reyvtail. Just like how Airi will always be my favorite Quilt girl.
